Rogers Arabians is located 40 miles north of Kansas
City, Missouri, just 3 miles east of I35. It began as an Egyptian related breeding program in 1985. Through the years we always tried to breed to stallions with Spanish in their pedigrees to improve dispositions and athletic abilities. The spanish bloodlines are much easier to work with and train. Since our target market is the amateur, we thought it a wiser move to go more spanish.

The spanish arabians are fewer than 1% of the registered arabian population, but spanish and spanish-related get and grand-get have an extremely high percentage of wins, when you consider their limited numbers.

Rogers Arabians' goal is to preserve the wonderful spanish arabian gene pool.

The spanish arabian is noted for its athletic ability, smooth strong coupling, dense bone, and supple neck set. They have beautiful, huge, kind eyes. The spanish arabian has been bred for many generations to be very compatible with man.  They also have incredible dispositions and are well known for their calm mind, smooth elegance and quiet fire.

Our stallion, Sakito, is straight classical spanish (Saski x Chispa) and exemplifies the spanish arabian. He has many Class A Championships and Reserve Championships. He has never lost a liberty class. He was the 2009 American Royal Liberty Champion. In 2010, he will begin his western pleasure and sport horse in-hand career.
